My Silly Boys

This layout was put together as part of a challenge on Creative Scrappers.

I liked the look of the sketch for challenge 97 as I think I am normally a ‘cluttery’ scrapper and this sketch leaves lots of white space.

I used Basic Grey – Archaic papers, Papermania alphas, Maya Road chipboard tags, others items were die cut paper buttons, sticky double sided foam letters with glitter added and faux leather straps (recycled).

I am pleased with the end result.

Hugs

I love this layout.  Mainly because of the photograph which has always been a favourite of mine and one which I had been planning to scrap for ages.

I also love it as it is so colourful and it came together so easily.

I wanted to include journalling on this layout but didn’t want to spoilt it by taking up too much space especially as it was a smaller area I was working with it being shaped paper.

So…I decided to journal around the edge in white gel pen, which I think worked well with the shape and finished it off.

This is my latest layout.  I have just bought a couple more kits from Gauche Alchemy and I made this using the BabyKiddoCutie kit.

I have also used other elements such as the large felt flower, Making Memories letters and American Crafts rub ons as well as two pieces of epehmera I have gathered at some point.

I put this togther while taking part in this challenge on Scrapbook Challenges.

Hope you like it.

Maya Road Stash – Win

Look at the fabulous Maya Road stash I won in a giveaway.  I don’t know what to use first.

Another scrapbook layout of ‘yours truly’.  I have used another kit I have obtained from Gauche Alchemy.  I love their kits as they are a little different from the norm.

The kit is called BabyKiddoCutie.  As well as using the kit I used Making Memories alpahs, large felt pieces (sorry cannot remember the make) and 2 bits of ephemera.

I put this together as part of a challenge on Scrapbook Challenges.

Hope you like it.

Altered Art Project Idea

My husband came in today with a present from one of the guys he works with, which was a very nice bottle of Polish vodka.  I advised him that I would take care of the vodka, he he.

The bottle came in a lovely wooden box with a small rope handle and a see through curved panel at the front.  As soon as I saw it knew it was an item ‘ripe’ for altering/recycling.

So I will hopefully be able to get to work soon and give it an ‘altered art’ makeover.  I will let you see what I have done.
