This is yet another layout of my grandson and another layout using goodies I have bought from QVC, but I couldn’t resist.

I loved the rainbow paper and thought it best represented my grandsons nature.  I really wanted the photogrpah to be ‘centre stage’ so I surrounded it with buttons and 2 chipboard elements.

I used embroidery floss and stitched little starts on the different colours of the rainbow just to break them up a little.  I wanted a sun shape in the picture and I decided to use coloured corrugated card to give it some texture.  I added 1 more chipboard element in the bottom right hand corner.

I struggled with title, then when I saw the ‘Yo’ rub-on I knew it was perfect and fitted in with the sunglasses.

I wanted to include journalling on the layout but didnt want it to it in a block or similar, so I decided to journal around the sun and its rays.

Hope you like it.

Cheeky Grin

This a a simple layout I did of my husband Paul.  The 1st thing I thought of when I say this photograph was ‘cheeky grin’, hence the title.

I put this together from a large kit I bought via QVC.    The layout consists of.

12×12 patterned cardstock.

3 medium sized brads

I tag, which I punched out and attached ribbon to.

Stripey paper, which I matted onto.

Alphas, which stared out a sort of grey camo colour and I rubbed over with blue ink.

1 WRMK Gromlet

1 flower shape – embossed in Cuttlebug houndstouch embossing folder and then glazed.

3 photo anchors with 3 v.small brads to hold them in place.

And that’s it.  They has been journalled onto now, but I rarelycomplete them before taking a photograph.

Hope you like it.
