Decorated Pegs – Blue and Pink

I bought these pegs a while ago and waited for my friends wife to have her 2nd child.

Well Thomas has made his entrance into the world and I have made him and his older sister Katie photo pegs.  Basically the idea is to use them to hold your photos in so they are on display.

I used gesso as a primer and then coloured poster paint.  I then decorated  the broader sides with MME Penny Lane papers, added various stickers and I was done.

I think I may have overdone the stickers, but I wanted to make then fun and bright.

I would love some feedback on this, please tell me what you think.

Hope you like it.

Brothers

A layout I put together about my husband and his older brother when they were young.

I used Core’dinations cardstock, Basic  Grey cardstock and cardstock stickers, patterned paper I am not sure which make (tartan) and a Smirk rubber stamp.

They look like they are having so much fun.

Hope you like it.

Sleepyheads

Before my son, daughter in law and grandson moved up to the Newcastle area to live they used to come and visit us with the grandson every few weeks.

This is a photo I took one morning when I snook into their bedroom to see if they were awake… as you can see they were still giving out the Zzzzzzz’s.3 sleepheads

Scrapbook Challenges-Sketch 205 – Super Sweet

This is a layout I put together using a sketch from Scrapbook Challenges.  Another layout about my grandson, I just cannot help myself.

I had just bought Scrapbook Magazine and used as much of their the free papers that come with it.  I had also just purchased the same day the ‘build a flower’ rose stamp set from Papermania as well as a pack of glittered strips also Papermania.

So my aim was to incorporate them all if possible.  I used the title ‘Super Sweet’ as that is what my grandson is to me, he is just ‘so gorgeous’.  Of course I am biased-just a little.

I would love to know what you think.

Thanks for looking, hope you like it.

Cutie

This is a layout I sort of just threw together without using a sketch.  I just seemed to find bit and peices I liked and ‘viola’ it was done.
