Feel Amazing – Recycled Project – Scrapbook Layout

I put this layout together specifically for Scrap Tiffany’s Blog Hop.

If you want to take part in the blog hop – please start at the beginning of the hop by clicking HERE!!

It is called ‘Feel Amazing’ as this is how my grandson (pictured with me) makes me feel when my husband & I have him for the weekend.

For this layout I used:

Recycled items:

A piece of  card that came in the packing of a scrapbook album I bought.

An old piece of Christmas decoration (gold leaves)

A tag from a dress my daughter in law threw away that says ‘Feel Amazing’

Shapes (red and green) die cut using my Cuttlebug from photo paper which I had picked up the left over Cosmic Shimmer/Glimmer Mist (by rubbing the paper on top of it)

Thin white-ish foam which came with the shirt my husband ordered, from which I die cut shapes from – again using my Cuttlebug.

Scraps of gold netting left over from a previous project.

An old doily I forgot I had (and then rediscovered) which I sprayed over the top of to get that gorgeous pattern.

And finally a scrap left over from the extra bit you get at the bottom of Sassafras Lass papers.

Non recycled items:

Rubber stamps (corner and journaling)

Cosmic Shimmer mist

and of course the photograph.

Of course at the end of the project I still have the doily that I sprayed over that top of which looks gorgeous and I cannot wait to use it on another project. (see below)

I hope you enjoyed my recycled project and it has inspired you to recycle on your scrapbook layouts.

Wish I could see more of your project. I’m sure the little thumb nail pics don’t do it justice.

I can’t see the big pictures either, but I love the little pictures. I especially love the gold leaves that you recycled from the Christmas ornament. Great idea.
