Altered Money Box

For those of you who are taking part in the blog hop (or anyone else who is interested) should scroll down the page to see my ‘Recycled –  Scrapbook Page – Feel Amazing’ layout.  Thanks!!!

This project started out when I bought the wood crown from Hobbycraft for the princley sum (or should I say Princessley sum) of 99p ($1.43 approx).

The photos show the creative process in action – so to speak.

In addition to the crown I used:

Cosmic Shimmer mists

Gold netting

The flowrers atop the crown are from a necklace which I took to bits from Primark for £3 ($4.34)

Mulberry paper flower shape (I got as part of a lucky dip of bits and peices)

2 girly brads (Chic & Diva)

Bling (in centre of mulberry flower) from a bridal bits warehouse

Rubber stamp used is from Paper Artsy

Cardstock stickers on the side and top are from Basic Greys – Two Scoops and Sultry ranges.

And finally to make sure everything stays stuck and to give it a nice sheen I used Modge Podge – Shimmer.

Created using the Paper Artsy – Squiggly Mini 10 stamp, some sparkly hexagon stickers and Whispers pens.  Another simple ATC.

Hope you like it.

A day without scrapping is like a day without sunshine!!
